I remade an old song of mine! You can listen to it here on Newgrounds or check out the video in it's entirety on youtube.

I'll be honest the video took longer than the audio since I was doing the project to enhance my 3D skills more, trying to utilize 3D and 2D elements. Let me know what you think!

I've been working on a music video for an old song that I'm remaking. It's got to be the longest song I've ever made at around 7 minutes long and the most effort I've put into a video. It's pretty Grand!

So I did my first video tutorial today! I've never done anything like this before so I'm pretty keen to find out what people think.

I have 99 songs on my youtube channel and I figured I would do something special for my 100th. I saw that propellerhead (The guys that made reason, the DAW I use to make all my music.) where having a video chellenge competition to create a video tutroial for their new rack extension, Synchronus. I figure dthis would be the perfect opportunity to try something I've never done before. Plus, if I win I'll get all available rack extensions for Reason 7... HOW FUCKING RAD WOULD THAT BE?!?!

If you're wondering what Synchronus is, it is a modulation tool that can create some really nifty effects with anything you run through it. I explain some of it's functions in this video.

My music terminology isn't the best and I'm no professional musician/teacher but I hope this video was, in some way, helpful and informative.

So yeah! Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

Also happy new year!

I know it's a little late but Happy new year!

2012 was a great year for music! and I hope 2013 has much more to offer! I feel I've improved a lot since the start of 2012 and I managed to accomplish so many things that I wanted to do. Like have my music used in games and videos. It may not sound like much but to me that means the world, when somebody finds use in my music :).

The best example is the 'Wrath of Cheese' game for IOS that used 2 of my songs, Jazztown affairs and The Falcon Armada. Along with several tracks from other artists from newgrounds :). You can find the trailer here!

I've also been contemplating making an album soon as well. I promised myself that once I reach my 2 year mark (2 years of solid music making) I'd start work on an album if I was good enough. Within a few months I will have hit that mark. plus, I now have some better equipment for production and recording. This means I'll be able to record my guitar at better quality as well mix and master my music more accurately, So I'll be able to try more rock and metal style genres as well as crossing them with other genres (Chiptune rock, grunge step, thrash trance.. well.. they all sound like terrible ideas but you know). My point is I'll be able to try a bunch of new stuff and hopefully make an album out of it. If I do manage to create an album, I plan to put it up on bandcamp for free with the option to donate. Just something I've been thinking about.

Not much else to say but thanks to everyone who are nice enough to take the time to listen and review my music, because I do take on every bit of feedback given to me and I really do appreciate it. So.. Thanks!

Check out my Last track of 2012!
and my my youtube channel!

buh bye.

The past few months have been awesome in terms of music making! I've been working with working with a few artists on a few different projects as well as a lot of my own stuff!

First of all is the atomicriffs youtube channel me and waterflame started to open up collaborations in the form of uh.. well battles! Where 2 artists both make some music sequences under certain ground rules and then connect them in the manner that they take turns playing or attacking ;) it's really fun! there are already a few videos involving some pretty neat artists! Check them out on The AtomicRiffs Youtube Channel

Also I composed a track to which Lorelai Lyn of AngelxAnatomy wrote and sung vocals to! she did an awesome job! check that out here ! hopefully we can work on more tracks together! :D

and finally we have my newest track:

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/481794

I spent quite some time on this using different techniques and paying attention to sound detail. I'v been trying to improve on my overall production quality so I hope I pulled it off well :D be sure to tell me what you think!

Hopefully more stuff to come! if you're looking to collaborate be sure to drop me a PM! or check out the atomic riffs youtube channel I mentioned!

Thanks!

It makes me cream.

Anyhow who ever may be interested I'll be releasing an EP soon on bandcamp! (I made an account already but haven't uploaded anything there quite yet.)

It'll feature roughly 6 or 7 songs (hopefully) including 2 of my older songs, remastered and slightly extended. and 4 or 5 new ones. I have completed 2 tracks so far bringing the total to 4.

even once they are finished I'll most likely be posting them individually on here, on sound, youtube etc. I'll be posting them on bandcamp because it gives you the option to upload multiple tracks as an EP, plus it gives people the option to donate (I don't need any money, it's just a little challenge I've set for myself. The challenge is to make money off my music, it can be any amount but it has to be earned). But it'll be available for free plus you can download them individually.

Not many people listen to my music but those who do, I thank you and I hope you'll take a chance to listen to my EP once it's released :)

Here have this thing I made.

WOAAH! The newgrounds new layout is awesome!

Yes, as the subject states, I could do with some feedback on my music. I uploaded my first attempt at a DnB track the other day and haven't heard much feedback from it (of course I'd expect that from not having any listeners) I'd just like to hear what you think :).

You can listen to it here on newgrounds, on my youtube or soundcloud (if you have soundcloud be sure to follow and I'll listen to what you have :D).

Welp, It's about time I update this thing.

Well I left college now and I need work, so aside from making music I'll be job hunting. Earning some income will help me afford some better equipment and maybe I can start doing more interesting things! :).

I also decided to check out deviant art more now. There's some pretty awesome stuff on there, if you look past all the bad sonic fan-art and wannabe anime furry stuff that is. But I'm not one to talk I'm terrible at art, but I will be uploading some title art up there (if it's my own original work of course).

you can check it here

ALSO made some new songs as well! you can check them here on newgrounds or go to soundcloud! also if you have soundcloud be sure to follow, and I'll follow back and see what you have done :D.
